Thaw out the water pipe before connecting it back to the refrigerator.

2) Defective water inlet valve

The water inlet valve allows water supply to the dispenser. The valve requires at least 20psi to function properly otherwise the valve won’t open and will not allow water supply to the dispenser.

To check whether the valve is defective or not follow the following steps

1) make sure that the water pressure of the valve is at least 20psi.

2) use a multimeter to check the continuity of water

If the above two conditions are not fulfilled then your valve is defective and you need to change the water inlet valve of your water dispenser.

3) low water pressure from the housing supply

If the water pressure is lower than 20psi then the water valve won’t work. Low water supply to the dispenser may result in the poor working of the water dispenser. If the water flow is less than 20psi then Fix the water pressure of the water dispenser.

4) faulty dispenser control board

With the help of the dispenser control board, you can control the functions of the water dispenser. . If the control board is faulty, it may stop supplying power to the entire dispenser system. To know if your dispenser board is working or not, just check and test each of the dispenser components one by one.
